Hi there, I’m Victor Ha.

I live in Singapore along with my lovely wife Eunice and our two beautiful young children. You can probably tell where my priorities lie from the fact that I chose to introduce my family first.

I’m the guy behind Big to Small Thinking (you can read about it here), a concept and framework that will form the core of my upcoming book.

When I’m not busy with work, playing with the kids at home or hanging out with close friends and family, you’re likely to find me holed up somewhere with a good book and coffee in hand, socializing with my own thoughts.

I can’t function without coffee. Good food excites me. So does the smell of leather.

I believe in drawing out the best in individuals. Specifically, my desire is to empower those of you who feel lost and overwhelmed to reclaim life for yourselves and then go on to achieve your own definition of success.

In fact, this website was created for the purpose of sharing my ideas on how you can do just that amid the backdrop of an increasingly complex and overwhelming living and working environment.

In my regular posts, I primarily write about the factors that cause us to feel lost, stuck and overwhelmed, and propose practical and research-backed ways to help you overcome those barriers, find direction, and thrive in a world of too much.

What qualifies me to talk about self-improvement?

To be honest, nothing really. All I have are my own life experiences and a whole deal of thinking and research over the years I’ve been developing and refining the B2S Framework. I’ve personally experienced how having a sense of purpose and a set of personal values gave me the conviction to give up a lucrative legal career and join the family business.

Through the course of my 8 years in the family business, I regularly entertained self-doubt and the fear of failure. These are mindsets I fought hard to overcome, but which also gave rise to key insights that I can now share with you.

Growing up as an ‘80s kid, I experienced an analog world before the internet and technology changed the way we lived and worked forever, for better or for worse. This context allowed me to perceive the benefits and ills of living in a hyper-connected, always-on, attention-deficient world, and understand why being able to achieve focus is increasingly important. In essence, I have lived the B2S Framework in its entirety, which is also why I believe in its power to shape a life you desire.

Getting there won’t be easy, and we’ll need to help each other out along the way. Let’s get this relationship going. For a start, I’d like to invite you to sign up for my regular email ‘loveletters’.
